Branchie tells the story of Marco Donati, a seller of fish who has cancer and a hysterical girlfriend. Marco goes to India to fight Morton Subotnick, a surgeon from Turkmenistan who transplants organs into rich Westerners and who lives in a castle at the base of the Himalayas.
